I just came across one of Kiana's drawings that made me chuckle. A few weeks back Kiana informed us that we'd spelled her name incorrectly. "Mom, my name is supposed to be spelled K-E-A-N-A. You guys spelled it wrong." With her added emphasis on the "E", I told her she has a valid point. But we liked the "I" and that's how her name is spelled. No sense getting into an English spelling lesson. The drawing, along with other of her works, had her pen "Keana".
She definitely has a mind of her own.
