Kiana finished her first 5K last Saturday - our Bishop's way of trying to get us all moving - and finished 4th female overall! That's only because I'm selfish and claim 3rd. The times I practiced with all 3 kids she never complained or tailed behind -- it must have been the 7:00 am start time on a Saturday that kept her a little woozy but she did it! It's the most overwhelming feeling to be running down the road with that cute pom-pommed head striding along ahead of me on her hot red scooter and thinking to myself, "That's my girl!"
