"Mom, watch me climb the castle." Every time Maiya climbed the mountain-type ladder up to slide down the slide. Every princess needs one of those.
Last 15 minutes we headed back to watch practice. They did my hair. From behind me I heard Kiana, "Oh, I just want to be a mom." She caught me off guard,"I can't wait to be a mom 'cuz I want to have kids." I asked, "Do you want to be a nice mom or a mean mom?" "A nice mom!" "What kind of mom do you want to be like?"
"Like you."
Sniffles.
Made my whole year.
