80's Day

 When I was growing up, getting dressed up in a poodle skirt or flashing the peace sign as a hippie was our way of celebrating "the olden days". I would wonder, how could anyone dress like that? Then I'd remember that that was 20+ years prior...soooo long ago!

Just as my former self, my girls were pretty excited to get dressed up for "80's Day" at school. I hit denial mode. My brain finally did the math I had been putting off...yep, I grew up in the 80's. Whether I wanted to remember or not, those Thriller days were 20+ years ago...soooo long ago! The girls had fun.

Long live blue eyeshadow, side ponytails and neon!

    SO FUN! I know what you mean though....remembering those days for "real", that gives me a little bit of a reality check! :)
