Service - Week #1 Kick-Off

At Family Home Evening tonight, after reciting our Family Motto, I asked the children to think for several moments what value they thought we should focus on for April. The room went silent while they thought...well, Ethan and Maiya thought but Kiana's eyes were still closed from prayer. As much as I can hope she was deep in thought, I'm certain she was deep in desiring sleep. 

After a bit, Ethan shrugged. Maiya was still looking around. My heart was about to burst because my mind has been going non-stop all day,"What about service?" Ethan nodded and Maiya let out an exuberant, "Yeah!"

Stuart's cousin Jessica is Young Women's President in her ward and is collecting baby carriers to donate to a charity that will send them to refugees. I have two carriers and called her up to get specifics so I can start collecting them in our area. I'm super stoked!

We enjoyed delicious cookies from our sweet new neighbors as a thank you for bringing dinner. Their new baby is precious!

Kiana and Maiya were in bed by 8:45 PM. Ethan spent the night working on an app he's programming.

I wish I was that smart.
