Maiya attends Activity Days twice per month and today they went to Peterson Farms for their annual Pumpkin Patch. The nearby farm is always abuzz with activity, and at this time of year it's plenty busy with a huge slide, families searching for pumpkins, tractor rides and more. Activity Days is run through our church for girls ages 8-9, and another for ages 10-11. They do different activities related to the program - they recently did family genealogy and Maiya came home with a bag of great information that got her excited enough to venture on to the computer and do some searching for family relatives so she could fill out her Family History Chart. Last time they went to the nearby Oquirrh Mountain Temple to walk the grounds and take some formal pictures. Fun stuff! So many fun girls in this picture!
Two fun added notes: 1. Maiya invited her friend E (mom is a teacher & they're building a home near us) to come along. 2. Ethan was available to drive them, which I was very grateful for.
